Weight Room Sports Performance specializes high-quality youth athletic development. Our team of experienced coaches is dedicated to helping young athletes reach their full potential. The primary goal while developing athleticism is movement literacy. Simply put, this is the ability to take a movement pattern and apply it to a situation. Think of this like taking footwork skills from baseball and bringing them to defending in soccer. 

Learning how to carry one activity or movement over to another​ not only makes someone a better athlete, but also reduces the risk of injury.  The Weight Room is where a large chunk of that learning happens.  We focus on moving thoughtfully and progressively. In order to grow both as an athlete and an individual, we must set a strong foundation. Much like a skyscraper - if there is not a solid foundation, it'll never make it off the ground.

We break down patterns, educate form, and help improve technique in a fun, safe environment. Whether your child is looking to improve their speed and agility for a particular sport, or build upon their strengths, we have the tools and expertise to help them succeed. We use a variety of techniques and equipment to challenge and engage our athletes, including strength training, plyometrics, and conditioning work.

 

We place a strong emphasis on mental component of training. We understand that a positive attitude and strong work ethic are key to success in sports and in life. Our trainers are knowledgeable and supportive, providing encouragement and motivation to help our athletes achieve their goals.
